Does the lens support firmware updates?

Does the lens support the E-Z electronic adapter?
Yes. Firmware Version 1.3 adds compatibility with the Gabriel E-Z electronic adapter. We will continue to optimize autofocus performance and expand support for additional adapters. Compatibility updates will be included in future firmware release notes.
Is the lens compatible with older Sony camera models?
Sony camera models released in 2019 or later have been fully tested and demonstrate normal autofocus performance. Autofocus behavior may vary on earlier models. We recommend testing the lens at an authorized dealer before purchase.
