The up-and-coming player in the camera lens field, Thypoch, has announced the launch of its second series—Eureka—after its Simera 35mm f/1.4 and Simera 28mm f/1.4 became a hot topic among manual lens enthusiasts. Unlike the Simera series, which emphasizes modern imaging styles, the Eureka series is dedicated to recreating historically significant classic lenses with contemporary engineering techniques. The term "Eureka" originates from ancient Greek and expresses the joy of discovery, which also reflects Thypoch's hope that users will feel a similar joy when using the Eureka lenses.
As the first lens in the Eureka series, Eureka 50mm f/2 is an artistic revival of a foldable full-frame lens from the 1950s. When in use, it extends to 41.2mm, while folded, it is a compact 27mm, easily fitting into the pockets of small cameras.

Key Features
· 0.9m close focusing distance
· Classic design from the 1950s
· Foldable structure for convenient pocket storage
· Double Gauss structure ensures edge-to-edge sharpness
· f/2 large aperture with 12-blade diaphragm
Optical Performance Key Features
The Eureka 50mm f/2 lens features a classic asymmetric double Gauss optical design with 6 elements in 4 groups, ensuring each photo presents precise clarity, allowing photographers to explore the limitless potential of their photographic skills. Additionally, the ultra-low dispersion (ED) lens incorporated in the lens effectively reduces chromatic aberration, while the high refractive index (HRI) lens corrects field curvature and spherical aberration, delivering sharp and clear images even at the maximum aperture of f/2.

Moreover, the Eureka 50mm f/2 lens is compatible with the Hasselblad CFV100C's 44mm×33mm format, ensuring exceptional image resolution of up to 100 million pixels.
With its 12-blade diaphragm, the Eureka 50mm f/2 lens can create a round and aesthetically pleasing out-of-focus image (bokeh), crafting a dreamy and poetic atmosphere. Coupled with its f/2 maximum aperture, users can boldly tackle low-light conditions and capture subtle changes in light and shadow.
