Knowledge
Thypoch is an emerging manufacturer of retro-look photographic lenses, planning to expand its popular Simera 35mm f/1.4 and Simera 28mm f/1.4 lenses to include Z/E/X/RF Mount options. This expansion is in response to feedback from Thypoch fans and users who expressed a desire for more versatile lens options.
The Thypoch team is committed to maintaining the excellent performance of the original M Mount lenses while fine-tuning new Mount solutions for optimal results. The release of the Z/E/X/RF Mount lenses will provide photographers with enhanced capabilities to capture fleeting moments with precision and clarity.

Improved User Experience
The ergonomic crescent-shaped focus lever of the Z/E/X/RF lenses greatly enhances the focusing experience. This is an innovation in focusing that replaces the old infinity lock device, designed to make focusing smoother and more intuitive, allowing photographers to focus on subjects with greater ease and comfort.

In the latest versions of the Z/E/X/RF lenses, the slight resistance on the focus ring from 0.7 meters and closer will be eliminated. This improvement is aimed at optimizing the user experience for non-rangefinder camera users such as Nikon, Sony, Fuji, and Canon.
Retained Design and Optical Performance
The classic auto-depth-of-field scale design allows photographers to quickly and easily determine the focus distance when using hyperfocal shooting, ensuring each photo is perfectly focused.

The Simera 35mm f/1.4 and Simera 28mm f/1.4 lenses for Z/E/X/RF Mount have a constant maximum aperture of f/1.4 and a constant minimum focus distance of 0.45 meters and 0.4 meters, respectively. Therefore, even in low-light conditions, photographers can capture images with beautifully blurred backgrounds and sharp, clear subjects. Both lenses are equipped with built-in Floating Lens Elements (FLE) to ensure excellent imaging performance even in close-up shots, delivering sharp image quality from center to edge and conveying delicate narrative textures.
Additionally, the lenses feature a stepped aperture mode and stepless aperture mode indicated by the "Sun" and "Moon" icons, allowing users to choose according to their needs. The stepless aperture mode facilitates smoother and quieter aperture transitions for video shooting.

Pricing and Availability
Like the M Mount, the Simera 35mm and 28mm f/1.4 for Z/X/E/RF Mount are priced at $649/€609 (including a square lens hood, front cap, and rear cap). In addition to the Z Mount Simera lens available from May 20th, the X/E/RF Mount lenses will also be available in mid-June.
